designed for individuals with special needs who are 14 years and older.

What does Night to Shine look like?

Night to Shine is a celebration! Although, every event looks a little different and is extra special, some of the elements included are a red carpet entrance complete with a warm welcome from a friendly crowd and paparazzi, hair and make-up stations, shoe-shining stations, limousine rides, corsages and boutonnieres, dinner, dancing, karaoke, a respite room for parents and caregivers, and a crowning ceremony where every honored guest receives a crown or tiara.

How to attend Night to Shine?

Night to Shine is a complimentary event for people with special needs hosted by local churches around the world. The event is open to anyone living with disabilities, ages 14 and older. Some activities included are a red-carpet entrance, limousine rides, dancing, karaoke, dinner, a respite room for parents and caregivers, a crowning ceremony where every honored guest will receive a crown or tiara, and more – Night to Shine is a celebration of God’s love for YOU, our Kings and Queens!

To attend Night to Shine as an honored guest, honored guests registered by January 9th. Once registered, Immanuel will provide all necessary information about attending Night to Shine on Friday, February 9, 2024.  If you are on the waiting list, we will contact you if a spot opens.

When & Where?

Night to Shine will be held in-person at Immanuel Lutheran Church Macomb on February 9 from 6PM – 9PM.

What is the deadline to register?

The deadline to register is January 9, 2024.

Will there be a virtual option?

Yes, the virtual option was available however registration is now closed. 

Is there anything planned for caregivers and parents?

Yes, there will be a dedicated respite room to rest and recharge!

Do you still need volunteers?

All of our volunteer positions are now filled.  Check back again next year!
