Immanuel Weekly Bulletin

Chosen

The Chosen series has started this past Sunday. It’s an 8 week time in the Word on Sundays and during the week. The best part? We’re asking you to watch TV. Yes, after the weekend message we want you to watch the episode for that week and spend time doing devotions based on that episode. The devotion books can be found in the lobby before or after service for $15. You can also purchase on Amazon. More details on how to watch and where to buy the book are on the Immanuel Small Groups page: www.immlutheran.org/small-groups

Kids & Student Ministry

Along with the Chosen series, Kids and student ministry kicked off this past Sunday morning at 9:30. You can find more details on the website or come on Sunday and they’ll get you checked in. The check in station is by the Nursery on the west side of the Worship Center lobby. There’s something for all ages! www.immlutheran.org/kids

  • If you want to learn more about Immanuel, and make this your home where you live out your faith there are classes starting in October. We’ve adjusted the process to begin with a one-time session called Immanuel Orientation. From there, you can take a class on Lutheran Discipleship. The goal for each class is for you to grow in your faith and learn more what it means to follow Jesus in your life. Check out the next steps page to get started. www.immlutheran.org/church/next-steps/

Communion

As a Bible-believing church, we affirm the Scripture’s teaching on the Lord’s Supper. If you say “yes” and “amen” to the following questions, then please, taste and see the Lord’s goodness for you:
Are you baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?
Are you a sinner?
Do you believe God’s love and forgiveness is yours?
Do you desire to repent and turn away from your sins?
Do you believe the body and blood is present in, with, and under the bread and wine?
